THIS EASY LASAGNA SOUP TASTES JUST LIKE LASAGNA WITHOUT ALL THE LAYERING OR DISHES! – YOU MIGHT NEVER GO BACK TO TRADITIONAL LASAGNA AGAIN – I WON’T!
1 pound ground beef
1 small onion, diced
1 green bell pepper, diced
3 cloves garlic, chopped
1 teaspoon ground thyme
2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 cans ( 14.5 oz) diced cherry tomatoes
15 oz can
tomato sauce 2 cups lasagna
1/2 cup grated parmesan
2 cups chopped mozzarella
Casserole great with onions, peppers and other ingredients.
At the end of cooking, add the garlic to prevent it from burning.
The ground beef mixture must be trimmed of excess fat. Put the ground beef back in the pot.Add
thyme and Italian seasonings, salt, brown sugar and chicken broth. Dice the tomatoes. Tomato sauce. Mix well and bring to a boil.
Reduce the heat and cover the pan.Simmer gently for 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes add the lasagne. Mixed. Mixed. Let the noodles cook for about 10 minutes.Stir occasionally.
Finally add the parmesan. Serve
soup in bowls. Sprinkle with mozzarella.
